"We loved this hotel! They’ve updated this hotel nicely. The location was less than a block from Salida Adventures which is the lovely company we used for white water rafting. The location is also only 1.5 miles from riverside park and downtown. The room was remodeled well! We had so much room for our family of five. We did purchase our own paper products and dish soap to have plates to eat on and paper towels and a way to clean everything. The beds were comfortable and our little one said the pull out couch was comfortable. We reserved the spa room one night and the outdoor hot-tub the second night. The reservations were easy and the front desk gave us fresh towels for each reservation. The sauna was really nice for 2-4 people and outdoor hot tub was too. The breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel breakfast with waffles, sausage, eggs and the normal grab and go. The kids loved it. We tried to book an additional night, but they were already booked full and we understand why. We recommend this place for families or whoever. Hopefully we’ll be back again!"
