John & Lisa made our stay wonderful. It felt like we were staying with old friends! Their home is beautiful inside & out. Overall, this was the best B&B we have stayed at. The breakfast was Amazing! If ever in this area again, this will we our go to for accommodations. Also, the bed & sheets were so comfortable, my wife looked them up while there and ordered us 3 sets for our home.

I was not aware the proprietors had only been running the business for a few months. They seem like seasoned pros! Very accommodating, delicious breakfast, overall a brief but highly enjoyable stay.

Simply amazing!

What a fantastic place to stay. The owners clearly put their heart and soul into this place. The entire house is well appointed with period furnishings. The bed in the Isabella room was one of the most comfortable I of which I have had the pleasure of sleeping. Breakfast was outstanding, as well. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Wendy and Mike were warm and hospitable. Wendy makes tasty dishes and offers great suggestions for outings. Also enjoyed The Old Mill for lunch. chew 262 dinner(Cameron server was a sweetheart).The home is lovely. Nice stay worth a visit. We missed nearby The Quarry and plan on visiting again.

off to a great start

New owners working hard to maintain a tradition of excellence for this lodging. Facility is beautiful, comfortable, well-maintained. Owners pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast great. Airconditioning a plus in this area were most B&Bs lack it. A gem of a place in an area where high-quality lodging at a reasonable price is scarce.

Lovely old home with antiques. Host was very pleasant and welcoming. No airconditioning which was a pity because the weather was hot. Only a double bed so a bit small in the heat. Breakfast was delicious Plenty of free parking. Nowhere relly good to eat near the B&B

Such a breath of fresh air to stay in a place that felt like home. And what a beautiful home at that! My mom stayed here in the 1980s and we wanted to retrace her steps. Couldn't have had a better experience. Guilford, ME is a treasure and should become a destination spot when visiting the North Woods!

The innkeepers were wonderful. The inn was filled with beautiful furniture. Breakfast was delicious, healthy, and topped off with garden delights. We planned on staying just one night but extended our stay since it was so nice. It’s also well situated to explore a lot of area highlights.

The house is slated to become a national historic property in August. Beautiful old Victorian home furnished elegantly with a wonderful wraparound porch. Wendy's breakfasts were yummy!

The folks who own the property have shown excellent taste in the preservation and decoration of this wonderful old home. Stairs a bit of challenge for my husband, but that's the nature of a B&B.
