Beautiful property

The property is very nice and beautiful. The location also was quite good. Breakfast menu had adequate variety and the staff was courteous. The room was very spacious and had a nice historic touch to it. Bathroom was really huge with a tub plus shower stall. Toiletries were basic but nice.

Its ok for a very short stay. No lift so be aware and prepared for hauling the luggage if you are on upper floors. No international power points. The way to rooms has steps all over the way. No trolley to get luggage to the room. Just ok.

The rudest check-in experience and staff. First they refused to honor my Expedia booking and I had to pay separately (it was a pre-paid booking). Then I had a friend visiting and they refused to allow them to hang out in my room. Never seen service as bad.

The staff and their hospitality is very poor. They don't even smile at you. Rude behaviour and looks like they just are doing their job in pressure. No valet parking, to swim, you need swimming cap, if you don't have they will ask you to pay 200rs per person for it. And don't know why photography is not allowed near swimming pool. Useless rules. And grass around the rooms are not well maintained.

The staff doesn’t help with luggage when you get out of car. They stare at you. They told me I had an incidental charge. I said I didn’t have any charges other than noodles I bought for a small amount. I gave them the money and they didn’t have change so they kept the change. Then they called me saying they forgot to charge tax. Kept harassing me every 30 mins to pay. I’m in a rush to catch my flight. Harassment for a few dollars. I showed proof I am waiting for the bank to approve payee. Don’t stay here.

j'y ai séjourné plusieurs nuits et suis tres déçue car l'hotel n'avait pas les équipements de restauration comme sur les photos. L'hotel est vide et vieillissant. La piscine fermée 2 fois dans la semaine et impossible de réserver leur service de massage. Qui plus est, ils m'ont réclamé un complement de paiement car soit disant ils n'avaient pas reçu mon virement que j'ai du prouvé sur mon relevé de banque. Je déconseille fortement

Good hotel, good location

The hotel was very well located, mostly friendly and accommodating staff. My only issue with the hotel is the STRONG synthetic smelling room freshners used in all the rooms which really gave me a massive headache. I had to check 4 rooms before I was forced to upgrade to a room with a balcony to open the doors and get fresh air in, i.e. I had to pay extra just to get normal air into my room. I highly recommend the Spa/salon and Kiran who gives the most wonderful massage. Food was good. Too many plastic flowers around for my personal liking but that can be ignored.

Check-in takes gruelling 15-20 minutes every time. I expect faster check-in as in other hotels especially on nights when I am already tired. I am not sure why I am being provided sub-standard rooms when my colleagues get better rooms for same price. Just to be sure, I have confirmed that they did not get any sort of upgrade or such. I think that when they run out of rooms in hotel they allocate rooms in apartments which are not up to standard considering the price paid. I have stayed a total of 4 nights so far here and its not good. I have moved on to other hotels in recent stay.
