"A beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Hal Ghaxaq Church square. Peaceful and relaxing but a great base for visiting the whole of Malta. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and maintained by a great team of friendly staff. The buffet style breakfast is delicious and fresh. Lovely pool & rooftop bar area. "We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes the entrance is located inside the shopping centre but it is very easy to find. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and keen to be of assistance. "This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. "This hotel is set in the perfect location. It's a 10 minute walk up the hill into Valletta. There is a free shuttle both ways to the center if you can't manage the hill. Wear flat shoes, the stone in Valletta is now so smooth it was very easy to slip and slide in the wrong shoes. You can go on many trips from Vallarta. We used Get your guide - pool is stunning and the beach area is really nice so you can look at the Harbor all day if you went. We loved staying at this hotel, it is very dated...
