"Nice and cozy apartement hotel, 2 minutes to bus station, staffs are very helpfull. Everything is great. But the street is less light in the night. "

"Rude staff, room not ready, don’t even get me started about the breakfast. The restaurant is far too small for the amount of guests, having to queue for a table, food average. I bet it is a nightmare in high season. Spa ok for six people or less. Would not recommend."

"Room was super clean and comfortable. TV could do with updating and it was a shame the indoor pool was closed for maintenance and there's construction next door to the hotel (but that is not their fault)"

"Highly recommended. Very friendly staff. Room is very modern , clean and spaces. Very good location . About 10mins Uber to Valletta and 25mins uber to Mdina. 15-20mins to airport depending on the traffic. 10 mins walk to the ferry to Valletta ( €3 pp) . Plenty of good restaurants and happy hours for drinks around the area. "

"The hotel is part of the Novotel group so that is the standard of service. My room was spacious and well equipped, with a large window leading to a balcony, kettle with tea and coffee provided, a small fridge, a safe, aircon, good lightings spread throughout, plenty of power sockets of both english and european format, good storage space, excellent wi fi and a large screen tv. Very good bed too. The bathroom was comfortable with enough towels provided, liquid soap and shampoo and a hair dryer....

"Wonderful hot tub! Clean, well kept apartment. There was a problem with water but it was sorted out immediately, very impressive as it was Christmas Eve! Having a washing machine was such a bonus. The location was excellent, everything we needed was close. We would recommend staying here and plan to return. We felt totally relaxed when we left! Evenings in the tub, under the stars, brilliant!"

"Lovely spotlessly clean spacious apartment. Communication before and during was great, with easy entry instructions. Daily room service was very good. Location in Gzira was perfect for my wife and I. We enjoy a walk and walked into and around Valletta one day and Sliema the next. In the summer when it might be too warm for some to walk, or just too far for some people there seemed to be lots of bus and ferry services close by to get around. There were loads of food and drink venues close by too....

"Amazing location and the views were spectacular. A few idiosyncrasies that you soon got use to. We were in an apartment, so small elevator, steep staircase, temperamental door code, but well worth the learning curve"

If you book through Expedia though I recommend that you confirm DIRECTLY with the Island Guest House. There was an issue with Expedia, but they righted it for me. What a pleasure! Thanks again!!"
