"This is such a beautiful location, and the home is well-maintained and decorated with care. When we arrived, four pairs of slippers were waiting for us, just as if we were staying in a traditional ryokan or machiya. We felt welcomed as invited guests. "This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well. "My husband and I had a pleasant one night stay at this ryokan! Staff are very courteous and welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome tea and orientation to the room, and onsen pass. Location is within walking distance to the train station and a few of the onsens nearby. There are no showers in the room, as all onsens have showers. We got the kaiseki dinner and breakfast service, and were served by the lovely older ladies who were very attentive. Felt welcome and would recommend to any guests coming to Kinosaki! "
