"Honestly a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean, the pool and gym were lovely, and the staff were very friendly. A very good hotel breakfast too - the best we’ve had in Vietnam. Quy Nhon is a fabulous place not ruined by tourists. The restaurants were amazing and the atmosphere is very unique. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel - such good value. "

"Mirrors dusty Dresser dusty Accused of stealing a plastic coaster Charged 40,000 dong before I could leave front desk staff very rude manger rude as well The grounds / waterfront walkway severely damaged by November storm Debis still littering property I was very nervous walking as support was compromised underneath Building on property damaged and open Sewage water emptying from river at end of property stunk so bad thru out the whole grounds Would not recommend nor would I ever return to this hotel !!! Breakfast servers very friendly as well as gentleman at the pool. I’m still upset about being accused of stealing a plastic coaster One of the worst hotel experiences!!!!! "

"Everything was perfect here. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The clean room was so amazing, we loved the design of the room here so very much. Food was very good. Didn't have time to see the pool, we really regretted not having chance to use it and also its spa service. We didn't have too much time although we thought it will a special service. Hopefully, we will have a good chance to come back here and will try it."

"This is most likely one of the most heartfelt reviews I’ve ever written — because the experience at Maia Resort was simply exceptional. Even though the weather during our stay was cold and rainy — which meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the private pool or spend much time on the beach — the resort still managed to create an unforgettable experience for us. We were upgraded to a stunning two-bedroom beachfront suite, and it was absolutely outstanding. The space was beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and waking up to the sound and view of the ocean every morning was pure magic. The attention to detail, comfort, and privacy made it feel like a true luxury escape. What truly made the difference, however, was the level of service. The operational manager Minh went far beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was handled perfectly. One particularly memorable moment was when he personally assisted with arranging and receiving a flowers delivery from downtown at 9pm, ensuring it reached our suite smoothly and discreetly. That level of care, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality is extremely rare. Despite the challenging weather, Maia Resort turned what could have been a disappointing stay into a warm, elegant, and deeply memorable experience. The team’s professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set this resort apart. "

"Everything is excellent "

"We reserved a Premier Signature Ocean View King room. The checkin was smooth, although the welcome drink was just a glass of flavoured water, memorable because it was so ordinary. At the room, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The included hearty breakfast had something for everyone. It set us up for a big day out. The next evening, our last, we tried the bbq special. At $299k per person, it was disappointing. Far too much chillie and chillie sauce on the side. Could hardly eat, and I quite like spicy food. Lucky, it turns out as I was ill for the next three days with explosive diarrhea. I emailed the hotel to advise them to kindly check their food hygiene but no reply. 99% sure it was a bad oyster as my partner and I shared every meal prior except the oysters. Ruined 5 days of our 10 day foodie tour of Vietnam. Checkout was a joke. Kept waiting while a staff member went up to the room and returned. We were sitting in the taxi waiting for clearance to leave. Left a bitter taste."
