"Good location, proving one has a vehicle to access the city centre. Great for walking and nearby parkland (Queens Park) and Town Beach. The Cafe with dinner and breakfast options is a good budget option without leaving th property. Friendly cooperative staff and well organised. Our room was clean, tidy and well provided for with an new bathroom. To note that with ongoing progressive reno/upgrades to the property there are trades on site during the daytime."

"A beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views over the ocean. The grounds and pool were beautifully maintained and the lovely lady at the bar was friendly, welcoming and most helpful. What let this place down for us was the room. It needed an upgrade and was dirty."

"After a rocky start with our booking through Expedia, we found this motel to be a very good place to stay. The room was basic but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It appeared to have been recently refreshed, with a new fridge, kettle, and iron. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase, and the complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits were of good quality. The grounds and gardens were well-maintained. The motel is conveniently located just off the highway, close to the Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre and tavern. While there was some highway noise, it was not significant enough to detract from our stay. Although the office was closed when we arrived, a quick phone call to the owners provided access to a lockbox and our room key. Payment was completed later without any issues, and the process was smooth and straightforward. A notice in our room encouraged guests to book directly with the motel rather than through third-party booking platforms, which retain a portion of the booking fee. Based on our experience, I would recommend doing so. Although our contact with the owner-operators was minimal, all interactions were professional, friendly, and helpful. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located motel that represented good value for money."
