"Not bad! A bit pricey for the area and quality. Mattress was pretty hard and the complimentary breakfast was a little lacking, but good for a quick weekend trip."

"I had a great stay at Studio 1 Motel. Right across from the beach and was a nice room. However the only thing I did not like were the bugs in the room. I totally understand it’s Florida but it just got to be a lot killing multiple bugs each day. Other than that it was fantastic!!"

"The proprietors are very helpful and friendly and really want you to have a great stay and go out of their way to make it happen. It's a great no-frills motel with plenty of free parking. The bathroom fixtures were outdated from like the previous century, but everything worked and what makes this place charming!"

"We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend stay, Nel at the front desk was amazing very friendly and attentive. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Best part was we were right on the Beach. We will be back again this time in a bigger room thanks Nel!"

"Beach view"

"This was my first trip to Daytona and decided on Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort. The staff is welcoming and provided all the information I needed for my stay. The rooms are spotless and the rooms are well furnished. Plenty of activities on property my family really enjoyed the mini golf section. Hours of fun to be had at the pools and of course the beach. Tip for new comers get up early around 6am to see the gorgeous sunrise you may get lucky like us a see some wildlife. Will be making Perry’s Ocean...

"Booked through Expedia in March for 3 rooms ocean front on Daytona Beach, but on the day of my reservation (July 4th) the hotel couldn’t process my credit card at 9am (check in at 4pm) so they cancelled my reservation. *please note I do not save credit card information on sites due to the threat of data breaches* They sent a message to Expedia but I did not get the messages in time. They stated they needed to run my credit card for 1 room’s taxes ($23) and it would not process so they cancelled...

"Horrible staff… manger was rude . We spent 340 for one night and they want to charge for parking also . You rent the room and it don’t cover to park one vehicle which is ridiculous they charge extra every night to park there smh . So we didn’t stay and they won’t give us our money back we are fighting this ."

"Room was outdated. Broken floor tiles. Freezer/fridge leaked from ice buildup in freezer. Needed painted. Other roo.s had been updated but this one I guess had yet to be done. Great view on oceanside though."

"It wasn’t what i paid for. My room wasn’t have a pool view and they switch a room next day and it wasn’t ready for me. Beds messed up, trash on bathroom and dirty towels on tub ."

"Staff not friendly, disappeared behind the counter when I approached. Near airport & train station, so noisy location. They were renovating the room above from very early morning, which they didn't advise us! When we complained they just were not bothered & just shrugged their shoulders. We should of been advised of this or at least offered another room. We are staying in the area but moved to a different hotel because of all the issues."
