The hotel was nice but there was no restaurant and the breakfast options were very limited. Gym OK but some equipment out of order. Staff were kind and very helpful.

Overnight stay after arriving for USA trip, whilst travelling to the Smoky Mountains. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent as were the hotel facilities. Breakfast, which was free, was a good starter to the day. The hotel location is just off the highway and easy to access. There are a few restaurants locally as well as some shopping

This is a lovely small hotel on the edge of Gainsville. It is quiet, clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, with hot and cold food. The added bonus of coffee and biscuits all day was great. There is a small square nearby (200 yards walking along quiet paths) with plenty of small shops and restaurants - good for dining out without having to think of the drink/drive laws. There are also nice walks nearby, an old train to explore and lots more to do a little...

Really nice location, but a few teething problems. Hotel feels a bit tired and we had problems getting hot water for showers. Gym works but is a bit basic. Breakfast is typically expensive. The location makes up for the problems though. The walks around are great.

It was a wonderful stay. Only one thing to make people aware of is the walls are thin. You can hear everything. And, the maids in my hallway were extremely loud. A lot of yelling.

We stayed at The Guest Lodge as we were watching our daughter row at a regatta at Lake Lanier so the location was perfect. However, it took 6 different key cards to get into our room. The staff were extremely helpful with this matter and had maintenance look at it. The problem still persisted but after several attempts we could access our room. The room itself was clean, though felt a little tired. We used the fridge, however by the morning everything was frozen, even after adjusting the...

King bed was very comfy, hard wood floors, simple room yet nice. Good parking if you have a boat. Haley at front desk was pleasant. Just on the outskirts of city but yet close to food places and Laurel Park (Gainesville, GA) where our BFL tournament was held. Definitely another stay in future. Great price...doesn't break the pocketbook.

The reception staff were absolutely lovely. I had to change rooms during the first week due to a plumbing problem, however this was easily arranged and a really nice room provided.
Continental breakfast very nice.
Only criticism would be the hotel pc which was clearly in need of updating/de bugging, but the wi fi worked a charm.
I would stay in this hotel again.
