Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast room/continental breakfast for 12 Euros extra. Free shuttle to the airport from the Marriott hotel(adjacent to the Kocks hotel). Within 10 minutes walking distance to airport. There is no elevator in this hotel and bathroom was very small ( my knees where touching the wall when sitting on toilet). Needs to be renovated.

Good place to stay
It is a charming hotel not far from the airport. It is a little bit outdated, with mold in the bathroom, and a damp smell by the reception area and hallway. Our room was supposed to have one double bed, we were given a room with two single beds. Basic breakfast, very welcoming and helpful staff. Overall for one night was ok.

I was very impressed by the friendly, helpful and competent staff. The hotel itself is quite basic and feels rather dated for the price I paid. Must have been another weekend with a big event in Hamburg, everything else was even pricier.

Under 20 minute walk from terminal
Friendly staff and clean room but lack of sound proofing, could hear somebody snoring all night from the room next door. Good location for the airport, but better similar priced hotel around the corner.

Clean, comfortable, convenient
A small hotel very close to the Hamburg airport at a reasonable price. Plentiful breakfast buffet starting at 4 am. makes is easy to get something to eat before catching the shuttle next door for an early flight.

In the room I had on the 2nd floor, I thought that the room furniture was very outdated, it looked like something from the 1970's, the shower was awkward for me to get in and out of as the shower base was about 18"-20" (45-50cm) deep. Also the lighting in the corridor between the stairs and my room was dark at night, I had to use the light on my phone as the light illumination was from the stairs sign above the exit door.

Very close airport location, free airport shuttle; nice breakfast buffet offered for only 8 Euros. Beds were comfy, room spacious. Hotel is a bit outdated but perfect for overnight stay

Close to transport but not great for sleeping
The main issue in the hotel are the floorboards - they creak like mad. Even though there are no flights between 10.30pm and 6pm you can't get sleep as every step on the stairs and in the rooms seems to creak.

Great airport hotel
Excellent location for an airport hotel. And the free shuttle service is very helpful. There is also an excellent vegan restaurant close by for dinner -- The Vegan Eagle. We had some noisy neighbhours beside us that made it a little difficult to get to sleep but our room had an extra door to the bedroom that reduced noise. Very comfortable beds.

It is ok for just one night to catch the flight.
I was surprised that there was not a coffee machine in the room. I always like to drink coffee at odd hours and it was not convenient. No soap in shower. Just one in the sink for washing hands. Any other cheap hotel or motel has soap in the shower. We did not take shower because of that.

Airport friendly
Great place extremely close to the airport. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Reasonably priced. The room and bathroom had plenty of space. No air conditioner. One thing, being that close to the airport, the planes fly right over the motel to land. They stop later in the evening. Kind of noisy. Not many restaurant choices in the area.

Close to the airport. But good experience stops there. Stinks of smoke. Rooms haven't been updated since the 90s. First room I was given still had the previous inhabitant's dirty sheets. Second bedroom hadn't been made up so i made the bed myself; and there was no towel. Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on in the next door room. The free apple in the reception was rotten (probably why it was free). Should have stayed somewhere cheaper and nicer and paid for a taxi to the airport. Or even walked!

great location close to airport
The location is excellent, a 2 minute free shuttle bus to the airport; I arrived at the hotel by public transportation and no problem either, I walked maybe 5 minutes from the closest Subway station. Small intimate hotel with very helpful and friendly staff; rooms are basic but very clean and have everything you could need for a stopover. For a small fee you can enjoy a nice german breakfast buffet with fresh buns and breads, jams, eggs, cold cut and cheese, yoghurt etc. Wifi is free but not very consistent and slow.

Good for a night by the airport
The place is located within walking distance of the airport (less than 1km) but they also offer a shuttle. They have a very early breakfast (4am) in case you have an early flight. The room was clean and spacious, though obviously old. You can hear the planes, but it isn't that loud. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It is also only a short walk from the U1 line (or the S1 line at the airport). My only complaint is that the internet is very spotty and hard to connect to. I highly recommend eating from the pizza place just up the street; very good pizza! If you want a place to stay for a night, it'll serve you just fine.

Very hot and loud. Hotel is on the corner of two busy streets with no AC during the recent heat wave the room stayed very warm overnight even with the windows open. Great Wifi. Standard breakfast at an additional cost.

Only 2 minutes to Hamburg airport. Excellent breakfast -$8 per person. Free internet,but very week signal. Staff was very helpful. Only one block to u-Bahn station. Three service stations close to hotel - especially good if you have a rental car to return.

Hamburg Hotel
The hotel was less than a 3 minute drive to the airport. The hotel offers free shuttle. There is a very nice German Restaurant called Rotbuche down the road from the hotel. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Great Place to stay
I had traveled in Germany and other surrounding countries for 3 weeks. I stayed at Kock's Hotel the last 2 nights of my trip because it was close to the Airport. I was very pleased with the accommodations and friendliness of the Hotel Staff. Very good choice and I will stay here again when the opportunity presents itself.

Nice hotel near Hamburg airport
My granddaughter and I stayed at this hotel the night before our early morning flight from Hamburg. It is a small hotel without an elevator. It is about 5 minutes from the airport and provides a free shuttle but you could likely walk to the airport if you wanted to. The room was small but exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The wake-up call came at the time requested. They start serving breakfast at an extra charge at 4:00 but our early departure precluded eating at that time. I would reserve at this hotel in future.

Great price and exceptionally close to the airport. If it had not rained, we would have walked. The room was very small, but nice. Beds were twin sized but comfy. We did not try the breakfast, since we had to leave before it was served. They had an airport shuttle, but again, not as early as we needed it. Personnel was friendly and helpful.
