"We checked in and our first room was visibly dirty. I asked for housekeeping to come address the issues and was informed that housekeeping was not available until the following morning. I asked for a new room and was given one, but it was only slightly better than the first. We ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. "Overall cleanliness and stay was fine. I would have given 5 stars, but the bathroom shower had hair on the walls, the continental breakfast was pretty scarce...and I don't know if they are just shorthanded with regards to someone who takes care of the outdoor grounds? There are 4 large flower pots at the entrance with nothing but cigarette butts in them...and the filth in the lobby floors that was dragged through just sat there all morning without someone at least coming to sweep and mop. "under trained staff, shade in room broken with outside streetlight shining into room all night, no paper plates for breakfast. just a very unpleasant experience. Will not stay here again. Worst Hampton I've ever stayed in. Staff tried to be helpful. I blame the management of this business for these short-comings. elevator was broken when we checked in but fixed soon afterwards. Worst of all it was a holiday weekend."

"We returned from supper and front desk clerk did not even look up from her phone. A yellow bucket, full of dirty mop, water and a dirty mop was right at the front desk Our Shower had mildew growing along the edge Breakfast buffet might’ve been OK if it had been refilled. We asked if there were any more boiled eggs and we received a sigh and the attendant went back to get some more."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find our room very clean and spacious! The bathroom was immaculate and had dispensers in the shower with shampoo and conditioner along with body wash. The towels were a good size and sparkling white. The bed linens were clean and soft. And my husband loved the hot tub in the room! The staff were friendly and helpful with ideas for restaurants. If we come this way again we will certainly stay at the Super 8!"

"Very nice place to visit, but tucked away all on its own. Rooms were nice but we were there during a heat wave and room was hotter than the hallway. After trying to cool it down they moved us across the hallway where the AC worked great (why didn't we start there?). Staff was super helpful with the relocate. Restaurant was nice and has a tiny bar area. Walking trail is nothing more than a mowed loop around the property. Rooms were nice and dinner was nice."

"A pretty interesting stay. Expedia said check in was at 3, but when we arrived, a clearly posted sign said check in was 4. There was no one in the lobby and I had to press a button to ring for them. The man at the counter was nice enough, but he needed to go check to make sure our room was cleaned. We waited close to 10 minutes in the lobby before he returned. "Good atmosphere"

"The elevators were down so had to take luggage up to 4th floor. The stairwells are not air conditioned and the 4th floor smelled like cooked cabbage. Opened the room and it smelled like dirty bedding. The staff was all VERY friendly. No gluten free safe food options."
