If you love querky this is a great place, the staff were great and the genuine look of the building was awesome. There was a great selection for breakfast and no fuss parking was just a short walk away.

Quirky Property very quaint but really needs renovations. Town in higgle-de piglets-de with amazing buildings. Rathaus clock is worth seeing and the Ratskeller restaurant serves great food.

Charming town

Staff is very friendly. Good location. Right by the river and can walk everywhere. Room is a bit small for 3 of us. But it’s everything we need.

Great placed. But run down.

Cozy placed. Hard to find. Picture on Hotels.com are edited. Staff was nice. When they first arrived! We reserved late, arrived to a locked up hotel, with no staff present. After calling several on a phone number put on a door with tape! , a young friendly guy came and checked us in. During the night a bunsh of drunk people were running around the hotel halls and knocking on all doors. Not possible to reach the staff to ask them to get the party stopped. Beds where of good quality. The room and bathroom were dirty and just really worn down.

A bit disappointment

Wifi was very weak, did not work. Breakfast was below standard. Scrambled eggs were cold and juices were warm. When I asked about the eggs, I was told that when it was made at 6.30 it was warm. Many different stairs and steps with no safety markings. We had an accident, a person tripping in the step down to the breakfast room.

There are a lot of hotel choices in the old part of Hann. Muenden. Most are expensive. This one is slightly cheaper, but for many obvious reasons. First; the good... it's right alongside the river, and everything is very walkable. Now several things that are odd, quirky and/or can be improved... The staff could have been a bit more welcoming, we're fluent in both English and German, but we felt there was a communication gap. The property is several buildings cobbled together. We were given a room with 2 windows that you see in the hotel's picture one row below the top. This meant going both up, and down, a total of 3 or 4 staircases, the last one being VERY steep. We're able and healthy, but it was odd. The room we did receive was quite small, and yes, German hotel rooms tend to be, but this was much smaller than anywhere else we stayed in Germany. The bathroom was even smaller, and I had to duck to shower. There was a glass (for water? toothbrushes?) in the bathroom, upside down, but was not very clean. Did not use. We visited on a very hot day in the summer; no we weren't expecting air conditioning, but you should note that there is none. Breakfast was an OK spread (compared some places), but not the highest of quality (cheeses/meats/breads, etc.). Before you say; "stupid Americans!" note that we have studied in Germany, visit Germany often, and are fluent. Had low expectations. As a place to crash, it's OK. As a place to enjoy and relax in and feel at home; no.
Beautiful front of hotel alongside the river.
Different world time-zone clocks on every floor. Almost none of them correct.
Parking near the hotel (within the old part of town) really isn't possible unless you live there and have a permit. After 4pm, and before 9am can work though.
The town is WELL WORTH visiting, and the Rathaus is right around the corner from the hotel.

Kan absolut ikke anbefales! Vi blev snydt mht betaling - at de kun ville modtage kontanter og vi kunne ikke få kvittering for det betalte beløb. Vi fik ikke nøgler til at komme ud og ind af hoveddøren til hotellet, så vi var låst inde og kunne ikke komme ud næste morgen og der var intet personale. Et held at der ikke var brand, for alle udgange samt nødudgange var låst udefra. Ingen morgenmad som lovet og betalt for, på det tidspunkt de havde lovet. Nusset og slidt i kvaliteten. Absolut usamarbejdsvilligt og inkompetent personale.

Mysigt ställe men inte värt 200 E/natt

Mysig ställe i äldre byggnad. De borde kalla sig för B&B istället för hotell. Det var rent men väldigt slitet. De frågade om vi ville ha AC men en fläkt. Vår räddning blev att det gick att öppna fönsterna. Frukosten var okej, bra bröd men annars inte mycket att glädjas åt. Bra läge nära centrum och precis vid ån.

Kurzstop in Hann. Münden

Der Empfang war freundlich und das Zimmer schon bezugsfertig, obwohl wir eher da waren. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zur Innenstadt und den Flußarmen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Die Fahrräder konnten wir in einem kleinen Raum sicher abstellen.

Nicht zu Empfehlen

Die Zimmer sind alt und ungepflegt, die Bettwäsche hat teilweise Löcher und wann der Teppich das letzte Mal einen Staubsauger gesehen hat ist fragwürdig. Das Frühstück besteht aus ein paar Blättern abgepackter Wurst und Käse. Bei über 130€ die Nacht erwarte ich etwas anderes!

Behöver renoveras.

Hotellet är i stort behov av renovering. Det var en viss lukt i hela rummet och alla handdukar var fuktiga. Frukostbuffén var undermålig och hotellet kändes underbemannat. Hotellet är en charmig byggnad på en fin plats men är i behov av mycket kärlek för att bli trevligt. Besöker gärna staden igen men inte hotellet.
