"We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs."

"Just a quick night away. Parking a bit of a challenge as the cars I parked between had been a bit greedy. Room spotless, bed comfy, the chocolate bar a lovely touch. Wine selection very good and food really excellent. Staff helpful-we couldn’t get our TV to work. It was promptly fixed"

"Very friendly service. I slept well in the room, the bed was comfortable. The room was looking a bit tired but other than that an excellent stay and extremely good value. Breakfast was good with a warm and friendly welcome from the lady serving me."
