As a long-time Hilton Honors member who has stayed exclusively within Hilton brands since childhood, I found the overall experience to be significantly below expected standards of hospitality, professionalism, and brand conduct. There appeared to be a lack of effective managerial oversight on-site. The general manager was frequently observed in close informal association with staff, with no visible intervention or correction of inappropriate conduct. The overall environment suggested a normalization of unprofessional behavior rather than active enforcement of hospitality standards. In multiple instances, staff behavior toward guests appeared dismissive, and at times crossed into conduct that could reasonably be perceived as bullying or mocking. Guests were at times informed that they should clean or maintain their rooms beyond standard expectations for hotel stays, which is not consistent with full-service hotel operations. Taken together, these issues reflect a broader breakdown in service delivery, staff training, and adherence to brand standards. The experience did not align with the expectations associated with Hilton Honors membership or Hilton-branded properties. A front desk staff member directly addressed the child in a disrespectful manner and referred to her as a “liar” in relation to a minor issue involving a paper plate. Regardless of the context, this interaction was inappropriate and not aligned with acceptable standards of guest relations and its re: a minor.

I have been a Hilton Honors member for years and have stayed at Hilton hotels since I was a child. I have never experienced anything remotely close to this. This hotel does not reflect Hilton’s standards in any way, it felt more like a chaotic, unregulated environment than a professional hospitality establishment. To make matters worse, guests are expected to go beyond normal tidying and essentially clean up after themselves, with staff stating that overnight guests should maintain the room “as they would at home.” That is not what anyone expects when staying at a hotel, especially not at a Hilton property. What’s even more frustrating is the apparent lack of leadership. There is no visible management presence aside from a general manager who seems disengaged and overly familiar with staff, contributing to the unprofessional culture rather than correcting it. There is no sense of accountability, organization, or hospitality standards being upheld. Communication was also a major issue. There were significant language barriers with both front desk and housekeeping staff do not speak a word of English, making even simple requests extremely difficult. At no point did it feel like guest comfort or service was a priority. I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this hotel. The overall environment of the hotel felt chaotic and hostile. Staff members, including front desk and housekeeping, were frequently loud in the lobby, openly speaking negatively about guests.

The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff was shocking and completely unacceptable, especially for a property operating under the Hilton brand. Most concerning was how my 7-year-old child was treated. A receptionist called her a liar over a paper plate. Speaking to a child in that manner is beyond inappropriate and reflects a serious lack of basic decency and training. The overall environment of the hotel was chaotic and hostile. Staff members including front desk and housekeeping were frequently loud in the lobby, openly speaking negatively about guests. This behavior appeared to be reinforced by the general manager, who seemed overly familiar with staff and did not intervene in fact, it felt as though this conduct was tolerated or even encouraged. At times, staff were making fun of and speaking in a way that came across as bullying toward guests. There were significant language barriers with both front desk and housekeeping staff, making even simple requests extremely difficult. At no point did it feel like guest comfort or service was a priority. What’s even more frustrating is the apparent lack of leadership. There is no managers there aside from a general manager who seems disengaged and overly familiar with staff, contributing to the unprofessional culture rather than correcting it. There is no sense of accountability. Housekeeping staff were eating breakfast in the lobby during and taking up seating from guests. guests are clean the property themselves.

Good place to stay for one night. Smaller than typical hotel rooms but has everything you need and comfortable bed. My only complaints are the shower leaked onto the floor, the breakfast buffet was poor and the reception desk could not give us change to be able to tip the staff when we left. We ran into this at another hotel we stayed at recently. I realize everyone now uses credit cards so I guess we now have to put it on the credit card. However who is going to take the time to do that when they are quickly checking out OR they don't want us to tip the cleaning staff anymore????

The rooms were much smaller than expected. Although the two beds were a decent size, there were no closets or wardrobes. This meant that we either had to keep everything on the sitting bench that shut it out into the very thin walkway at the foot of the beds, or hang everything up. Hanging everything up from the wall hooks was cute, but absolutely did not work for multiple people staying in that room. The backpacks shut it out all the bags were constantly in the way. It was a very pretty room, and a very clean room, but a very small room. It would work best for a single traveler or a couple sharing a single bed. That said, 24/7 market selections in terms of food and beverages available for purchase were fantastic. And the breakfast was very good as well. Families with small children would like that. They have a DIY pancake machine that you can watch cook your pancakes after adding fun toppings. It was a big hit with the little people in the lobby, so it was a very good stay overall, but just be aware of the very small rooms if you’re coming with your whole family to Hersheypark.
