"The lady at checkin was wonderful and our room was excellent. The issue we had is with the wi fi. The property states there is free wi fi but when trying to get onto wifi it just went round and round with no sign of any connection happening for 5 to 10 minutes. Luckily the lady said it was iffy so if no luck to ring her and she would give me a secret password which would work so that is what I did and it did work. My concern is the property advertises free wi fi but it appears for everyday people the connection is poor at best and at worst non existent. Luckily for us the lady gave us the secret password and that worked. The other positive I want to give is free laundry facilities which my wife made good use of and the facilities were excellent. Other than the wifi issue it was a good stay at the property."

"Great location in amongst lots of cafes and restaurants and near the water. Room was great, bed & linen comfy and the bathrooms were clean & well stocked with toiletries. But the music noise from the Indi Bar downstairs until very late meant it was hard to sleep and then you could hear people talking until at least 3am. Such a shame as the rooms, bathrooms and value for money were great but noise was awful. This was a Thursday night."

"Friendly staff and, although not super fancy, our room had everything we could need. Kitchenette was well equipped. The undercover parking area felt very safe. Unfortunately we were still too full from lunch to enjoy dinner at Silos Restaurant but it was a pleasant area to sit in for happy hour drinks. Got a discount for the room through hotels.com and that included buffet breakfast for two which is listed as $30 per person. Nothing too flash but plenty of options. A nice location to walk along Koombana Bay and would happily stay again."

"We loved staying at Admiral hotel during the weekend. The staff were so warm and welcoming and went out of their way to see to our comfort and made sure we settled well. Always polite. The rooms were well maintained and clean. Will definitely come back for future stay."
