"Lovely old character property with nice rooms. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good, especially the apple cake! Good location with lots of restaurants a short walk away."

"Lovely stay in this non-hotel. Beautiful old world palace and rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff (owner?) Alvero. This is not your typical hotel, no TV, no front desk, no elevator, etc. If that is something that appeals, it is worth a stay. Note that there’s no sign on the small inconspicuous door.
