Fantastic stay with Max and Carol. Lovely well appointed place set in a quiet garden with plenty grass area for kids to safely run around. Lots of things to do nearby, we visited the National aquarium and Splash Planet in Hastings, all well worth a visit. Fantastic hosts with a wonderful place.

It is a modern functional building in a low-rise mall.
Rooms are well-furnished and appointed.
The hotel outsources all F&B including breakfast to local businesses. Quite unusual, but it works pretty well as they are all next door
The front desk staff could not have been more helpful with winery, restaurant and transport advice and bookings.

We were on the top floor which spanned from rear to front of the property with a fabulous sea view - I can highly recommend the slightly more expensive room in this regard. The room is very spacious and novel to have a hot tub in the room too. I don't like to detract from such a good stay, but the hot tub jets are not that powerful, so if you are used to a jacuzzi, you might find it more like a hot bath with moving water!
Kitchen had nice touches with Milo (Nesquik), good tea and instant coffee...

Very pleasant check in and the room was spacious and very clean. The view of the lake was amazing and the chairs on the balcony were very comfortable so great to sit and enjoy it. Good kitchen area and fridge with milk was a nice touch.
Easy 20 min walk into town. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Very nice property and helpful staff at check in. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very clean. small issues, the toilet was constantly running and it would have been nice to have beer glasses.

Loved the location - view of the ocean, lots of lovely cafes nearby, right by the beach. We were in room 1, which was on the end downstairs and nice and quiet. Decent-sized, clean rooms. Loved the walk-in shower! The room had cutlery, utensils, crockery and microwave which was handy. Plenty of storage space. Easy parking. Bar and restaurant onsite so option for room service too. Would happily return!
