The entire 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite was dated but we loved it! The rooms were clean, kitchen was clean and bathrooms were clean. There were a few random treasures left from previous people’s stays. The pool was great and a fantastic treat in the cold! The location was away from the Main Street of Helen but it was also an easy walk to get to all the activities. The drive up and down the resort was roughly 16 to 18 degree grade. Checkout was easy and there were some easy directions that needed to be followed but for the price and location, nothing but love for this place!

Drive up to the buildings was a little scary esp in the dark when we arrived but not so bad. Resort is cute, security guy that checked us in (late) was friendly and helpful, enjoyed the space, condo was clean. Decor is outdated and building could use some paint. But had a good stay, would stay here again and would recommend.

The chalets had everything we needed from bedding, towels, pots, pans. We loved the view of downtown Helen, and a close walk to downtown. The drive up is a little steep, but once we got used to it, not bad. If you have hip issues, there are quite a steep flight of stairs. overall very good, my grandkids and daughter loved it, and they especially loved the jacuzzi in the loft bedroom. I think it would be nice to go back in warmer weather so we could enjoy the pool and outdoors.

The rooms are all up a huge hill/ very steep road that if you are a nervous driver or do not like heights, this will affect you, every time you go up and down. Once you park, then you have two flights of stairs to lug your stuff up. The pool area and everything else is located at the bottom of the huge hill and was closed down. If you are an avid hiker in altitude, the walk up and down will not bother you too much. The room was big, but very dated, very worn. The in-room hot tub looked sus so didn't even turn water on. 1 coffee pack and filter were provided for the week, but 7 bars of soap. The glass sliding door didn't close all the way and had a gap at the top I shoved paper towels in to keep the wind out. I wish there was some indication of these very major issues made before booking, but I wasn't going to try to change last minute once I got there. Hotel staff was friendly that I spoke with.

Outdated Amenities and Poor Communication

There isn't really a playground as advertised- they only had 2 old bouncy things and a climbing stand. The heated pool jets were broken and overall the property needs a lot of maintenance. The walking path takes you to the back of a restaurant and you have to walk next to the dumpsters with trash all over the ground. We have stayed here a year ago and it was cleaner last year. The driveway is also unmarked which posed safety concerns this year because there were many guests that were driving down the one way drive in the wrong direction. We tried calling to confirm reservations for weeks prior and could not reach anyone on the phone.

We loved everything about this location. It could use a larger TV downstairs, hotels don't have 19" tv anymore. There is a steep hill to walk down to take the path to downtown, not advisable for seniors. But you can park at the bottom by the path of you don't want to walk up the very steep hill. We would definitely stay here again. It had everything for a perfect weekend away

Room was okay had cockroaches lying around in the front room by window. Never seen any staff. Parking was alright. Kitchen was very nice. Had quite a few cobwebs around parking area as well as stairs even in the apartment.

We loved how quiet this property is. Everything was great except how tight the garage is. I have a big truck and it was super tight. It was almost a deal breaker. Overall great stay though.

Alpine was excellent. Pearson at the front gate was great and all smiles. They had instructions and guidance for everything and so close to Main Street. Family loved it. Would definitely go back. Thank you!
