"Conveniently located off of I-40 and the price was reasonable. The only downside that I saw to the stay was breakfast was not as advertised. Only thing that was available was waffles and cereal."

"The hotel is unique and wonderful. It is an unmanned property, so you won’t necessarily see another person while you’re there. You’ll receive a door code when you arrive, and instructions on where to find the key to your room. There is a large common room with kitchen facilities and room to gather and relax. Our room was large, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The ceiling fan helped to keep us comfortable, as did the air conditioning unit with a remote control. Shampoo, conditioner body wash and hand soap were all provided, If we every happen to pass through Okemah, OK again, we will definitely stay at the Velvet Woody!"
