"If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the Pioneer Valley, this is a simple, clean option. The staff is friendly, the sheets were clean and the bathrooms have all been remodeled. I will stay here again on my next one night trip to the area."

"The inn was in a perfect location for many activities. The room was very nice with a super comfy king size bed. The bathroom was fine. In the hallway they had a coffee machine for your morning routine. Our only comment is that the TV was very small. Parking was right onsite and convenient. The restaurant was nice and the morning coffee with muffins was a nice touch."

"Wonderful experience. Beautiful and unique. Deco was lovely. Very quiet place to relax and enjoy the stay. We enjoyed the scenery. Nice set up. Had a fireplace and we did not use it since there was no need to. Kitchen had all the amenities. We did not have to clean up after the stay. It will be a perfect place to have an event!"

"I’d definitely add that—it makes the review feel more personal: This was our second stay at the Black Walnut Inn, and once again, we had an amazing experience! This time we stayed in one of the suites, and it was absolutely amazing—beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The entire property has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful as well. There’s a reason we decided to come back for a second stay, and after this visit, we’ll definitely be back again. We highly recommend the Black Walnut Inn for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway in the Amherst area!"

"The room was substantially larger than most motels provide. It was quiet, bed was comfortable. Location was convenient, easy to find and agreeable. Breakfast was very limited— coffee, tea, toast, bagel. Overall, I would stay there again."
