"The property was excellent; we loved the location and the owners were very responsive. The only drawback has nothing to do with the unit, but Amelia Beach properties in general, and that's parking.
Guests get 2 passes. We only had one vehicle, so in theory, finding a spot would not be an issue. Throw in the 4th of July and residents allowing their friends in en masse to watch the fireworks, and it's a situation.
A policeman was on scene, but his response was he was just 'security'. The properties in this area need to think about hiring off-duty officers who can have people towed who do not have documentation. Believe me, the residents at this complex were quite angry. Has nothing to do with the unit, but I had to vent.
All this to say, that it was a 4th of July issue, not a condo issue. This is a nice place, with an excellent view, and the owners were terrific!"
