Dinner and breakfast was served very much like a 5star restaurant, but very traditional Japanese so that is something you have to like. The hotel is very old, boasting as one of the oldest, so it’s pretty authentic so is a bit musty in the common areas. However our room didn’t smell musty and was very clean and felt new. Be sure to call the hotel to have a shuttle pick you up from the nearest shuttle stop, which is down the hill from the property.
