"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. "Requested parking and Luckily managed to secure a parking space outside the guest house and Phil gave me a parking permit for our full stay. The room was big, clean and comfortable with sofa to relax on, ensuit with shower and lovely soft towels. Teas, coffee and hot chocolate, bisuits and chocolate daily in room. The breakfast was lovely and the full english was huge, cereal, yogurt and fruit availble. We had a lovely stay and would return when in Whitby "

"Couldn't fault anything really. Good value for money. Clean and well presented rooms. Friendly staff and there was a lovely aroma in the reception area and the lifts. Not sure if it was an air freshener but it was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. Good choice at breakfast and was nice to use the pool and facilities. All in all a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend. "
