"Incredible location and harbor views. Big room. Would have liked a regular duvet but it was a thinner one. Very friendly staff. I parked in a big parking garage called Harbor 5. I thought it was going to be payed for by the hotel but it wasn’t. $35 per 24 hours. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Check out was 12 noon which I liked. I would come back. "

"Hallways smelled like smoke, there was basically no hot water since it took 10 mins to come on which is when I finished and was getting out. Also additionally the toilet seat was broken "

"We were put in the wrong type of room which was manageable but annoying when traveling with a child. They only refreshed towels once during our stay of 4 nights and the room had a spot where the fridge had clearly leaked prior to us arriving, leaving it soggy. The room was dark. The staff was wonderful and very friendly but the hotel itself left much to be desired. You have to reserve a pool time as well which was a pain. "

"The building is a nice example of 1930s style and architecture, but it shows serious signs of wear and tear in the hallways and in the rooms. The rooms are modest at best. The "fitness center" is basically none existent, the staff isn't very knowledgeable of the local area, I waited for 20mins at valet to drop off my vehicle when I arrived, the breakfast buffet was cancelled some time ago, but they still advertise it as an offering... needless to say it is very overpriced for what they're actually offering. "Fairly smooth registration. Hotel is large but is very dated. The phone in my room did not work. I informed staff and they told me it would be fixed. That never happened. I also mentioned the bathroom door was broken and would not lock. I was told maintenance would repair. Again, no results. The following morning, hotel lost hot water due to issues with their hot water heater. I couldn't call them to ask of the issue, as my phone was broken therefore, had to physically travel down to the lobby to inquire of the issue. Several other patrons complained however, staff could not provide a timetable for when repairs would be made. Several staff members tried to empathize however, others could not be bothered. Instead of reimbursement, I was offered "quick bucks" for a future stay, but I do not plan to stay there ever again. I am disappointed with Expedia and plan to broadcast this further. "

"The only pro I can really say is the downstairs is really beautiful, but the rooms are definitely not worth $500 a night. I called twice about the AC not working. The room stayed at 76 even after they came up twice to look at it, and the toilets wouldn’t flush had to call them after they came up to look at it. They got it to flush, but then we proceeded to have issues with it not flushing, but it was so late. We just didn’t bother to call. "
