"The receptionist was a bit cross when we arrived - I had said our ETA was 18.30 to 18.45, we arrived at 18.55 (I realise that reception closes at 19.00 and we were a bit later than anticipated, but we had had a tiring journey, and at least we arrived 5 mins before reception closed!!). A different person was on reception on checking out who wasn't very warm. "

"It seems as a very good luxury Airbnb, but not good for solo travelers as me. I arrived this one, Naca Suite quite early and intended to leave my luggage at the front desk, but unfortunately I was unable to get in touch with any staff for 2 hours..."

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The location is also a big advantage — it’s very easy to reach the main tourist attractions in a short time. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Recommend 10/10"

"Bed was hard as a rock. Toilet made a dripping sound all night. It was very clean but there were unsightly stains in the bathroom. Breakfast was fresh."

"Il Principe is one of the best located hotels in Catania, close to all the main sights and easy walking distance to Square, Monastery, Fish Market etc. The Staff were exceptionally helpful . The reception area's, and Breakfast room had plenty of space and nicely decorated with marble. 2 person lift to all floors. The hotel had somewhere for the luggage on our last day. There was alway someone on reception. The area was quiet and felt safe. Breakfast had a good variety, hot scrambled eggs or boiled, bacon, mushrooms. Cold ham and cheese, yogurts, cereals, croissants. Fruit juice and coffee. The room was a good size and double aspect. Our room had a shower, which was adequate but could have done with updating. Bed was large but a little firmer than we are used to. Towels, hairdryer etc provided. Air conditioning was excellent. Unfortunately there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room, although there was a fridge and safe. I don't think we could have got a hotel that was in a better spot, ideal to pop back to in the day for a rest."

"The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The room was spacious with huge windows, bed was cozy & great pillows. The bathroom was large & always clean. Our only disappointment was that the pool was full but not open to swimming until May and we were there last week in April. We were served drinks by the pool at least. The view from the huge hotel deck was fabulous! Slightly outside Catania's outrageous driving traffic."
