"Super convenient to both MSC and Carnival ports. We could have walked to the port the morning of our departure if it weren’t for the massive rainstorm that decided boarding time was the best time to start pouring outside! Breakfast was simple but filling with a decent selection of options. Room was large with a great view of the ships coming and going!"

"The staff at Holiday Inn Resort on the Beach 5002 Seawall Blvd, Galveston are on their game. I think it's been renovated recently. Everything in the room was new, clean, worked and functional fast elevators. It's about time these beach hotels provide a great experience. Too many times it's top dollar for lousy service and accommodations. Maybe internet reviews are changing the game somewhat. I know it's difficult to constantly provide a quality product as hard as these places get hit, but as much as they charge they should. Thanks Holiday Inn."

"We stayed here before a cruise and was able to leave our vehicle here instead of the port for a much cheaper rate. The room was perfect could see the ocean. Room and hotel was very clean. Will absolutely stay here again."

"This property was very clean and we appreciated the walk in shower instead of shower/tub. I really like to enjoy a cup of coffee before dressing for the day, so when I discovered no coffee pot in the room, I called the front desk and they brought one to my room. YAY! Breakfast was good and they did a great job of refreshing the food. Would like to have bacon, but the sausage was ok. Any time I had questions of the staff, they were kind and responsive. Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, ac worked like a charm. Great stay! I will be back."

"We had an amazing time here! The room was listed as a “city view” but we actually had a view of the amazing Galveston cruise ships! The property was charming and well maintained. The pool and swim up bar was relaxing and clean. The food was amazing, although we couldn’t eat in the fine dining restaurant inside the resort. My husband didn’t have a collared shirt (noted for next time) but the bar serves food and we were completely ok with that. We were ok for the restaurant at breakfast. Highly recommended for a classy stay in Galveston!!"
