The room and facility was fine, but this small town has very little to offer. We chose Hofsos because of the Sundlaug pool and hot baths, but they were mostly closed for maintenance.

Frændgardur
This is such a magical spot !! The host was communicative and helpful and the property was cozy and well equipped. Possibly the favorite point of our trip! Plenty of room to spread out. Steinn Farm Private Apartment
Very clean and comfy apartment attached to a family home with nice view of the water. Not sure what kind of farm it is but the apartment is surrounded by vehicles, cars, trucks… A semi blocks the only window viewing the North. Also, there is a clothes washer but no dryer (only small drying rack)

Matti Guesthouse
A very cozy and comfortable guesthouse, Matti is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet place to stay. It is well appointed, communication with the owners was fantastic, and was a welcome stop after a long day of driving.
