Our room was very spacious, a really comfortable bed and a nice sized bathroom. There were also sufficient coat hangers in the wardrobe. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room. "I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not...

"A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value.
