"Had the worst experience I've had in a hotel. They claim to be family and pet friendly. Pets are only allowed on the second floor, which is under renovation. Noise levels and chemical fumes are intolerable. We were traveling with a child with disabilities, who cannot be exposed to chemical fumes. When asked to be moved to a different floor we were told they couldn't accommodate us because we had a pet. We were given the option to "check out." We checked out around 6pm. "The location was clean and inviting. The pool was smaller than precieved on the website lol but still clean and comforting... the staff was kind and helpful and funny... (love the week day morning lady that has been there for 17 years... she is cool!) Definitely will be back.... PLUS there is a texas shaped waffle iron in the breakfast room!!!!! "Let me first say that I am not a bougie hotel guest. I need a clean place to lay my head with decent water pressure for a shower. "This hotel was decent for the price. It wasn't the cleanest hotel I've stayed in, but it definitely wasn't the dirtiest either. The property is older, but it appears to be reasonably maintained and served its purpose for a short stay.
