"I believe this our 4th visit to the Malibu Beach Resort. It’s a terrific vintage motel (2 stories, L shaped, with a pool in the courtyard). Rooms are clean and basic, but have all that you need for a beach vacation. We stayed in a newly renovated apartment and it was awesome. The location is perfect, across the street from the beach. "My mother had dementia and had a medical event, I had to fly down quickly. I booked a room there for 1 week. It checked all the boxes I needed. It had a kitchenette with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, ect. It was clean, had a good amount of cable channels and a beautiful pool. Its very wonderfully retro and very clean.
