"They remodeled the hotel since I've last been here and it is much nicer! Though there was a visible gap in our door to the hallway. People can see us inside as well as hear us talking. Other than that, our stay was fine."

"The rooms were not 5 star standards, internet is slow, outdated room features, and no microwave. The amenities such as the pool was the best features of the whole property but even the pool areas had its downfalls with cleanliness and overcrowding. The parking is expensive and the gym was horrible. Not what I expected from a Hilton property."

"The location of this hotel is amazing and the pool area is great. I also want to preface this review by saying that the staff took any concerns we had seriously and were as accommodating as they could be. This hotel has a serious Mold issue that we experienced in 3 different rooms. The first room had Mold all over the ceiling above the bed. The 2nd room was 7 floors below that one but shared a wall with the previous room and also has black Mold in the corner of the ceiling. We were feeling really uncomfortable with this and asked to move an additional time. This room looked better at a glance and was also more updated. However, there was a musty smell in this room and the entire 3rd floor that was hard to get over. At a glance the Mold issue was better but it was all over the curtains, hangers in the closet and the front of the AC vent. At this point we just vent and got a bunch of glade air fresher plug ins and gave up. I really would love to recommend this hotel for the location, amenities and staff but both of us left the hotel feeling sick. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with respiratory issues or asthma. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in humid locations and have never experienced mold like this. In my opinion, this is more of a 3 star hotel. It’s definitely no where close to a 5 star hotel."

"The room was great, there were 3 working elevators which meant very little wait time going up or down, the laundry facilities and games room were much appreciated and utilized, as was the opportunity to grab fresh Beach Towels every day. The breakfast staff and the quality of the food was excellent and provided a great start to every day. I did notice that there was some ceiling damage, probably from water, in the hallway on the 12th floor where the plaster and paint were in need of attention. For the 11 days that we were there, nobody addressed the problem. There was also serious unsightly carpet ware in our room.(1215). Your Housekeeping staff are truly excellent and were very friendly and polite. Front Desk were also excellent. We loved the Beach View and spent hours watching those surfers trying to catch a wave. That little E-Store by the lobby was also a great place to grab a drink, laundry soap or a whatever we needed. Many of your guests fly out at night. Your Check-Out time is 10am. This means that guests have to vacate their room perhaps 12 or more hours before flying. I believe it would be an excellent service if the SONO Hotel Group were to offer a vastly reduced rate "resting room" to late flight exiting customers. I would suggest that you dedicate a "rear-facing non-view" room for this service and offer it at $100. The final impression a customer has is often the one that draws them back."

"The room was decent. The staff was very helpful. The gym is a bit small but still able to get a workout in. I was unable to connect to wifi so I cannot speak on it. The location was great. Walkable to the beach and a food truck lot. The ala Moana shopping center is nearby as well!"
