Hotel Mar Vista

"Definitely pet friendly place. We didn’t have a pet and have allergies to pets and strong cleaning perfumes. They accommodated us well also. Bed soft and comfortable. Breakfast with French toast, waffles, and biscuits-gravy. Bathroom clean and everything works well. Breakfast well attended but had no noises neighbors at night. You request for room service. We stayed 4 nights and asked for more towels and TP - delivered immediately. Close to beach access road, close to restaurants and shops. Will stay again. Affordable. Clean. Has huge pool and restaurant attached but not operating- we didn’t care. A/C and fan were comfortable all night at 72F."

"Clean hotel and room. Nice to have a hot tub. Breakfast of eggs, hash browns, meats, biscuits and gravy, etc was great! Our only problem was that the internet did not work in the room and we had to go to the lobby for a connection. I would recommend for sure!"

"Overall, the Grey Gull was just what we were looking for. The suite was spacious, the kitchen well equipped but bring your own crab pot, the ocean wasn't close enough to hear the waves crashing but you could see it from the balcony and the king-size bed was luxurious. The pool area was lovely with stretch lawn chairs but the hot tub needed stronger jets. Had a nice stay."

"The location facing the lake is excellent and very relaxing. The room is small, and the shower needs updating. The bed is small but comfortable. We missed having a fridge and microwave in the room. The staff was helpful and courteous. It was convenient to be able to do laundry. The stay was pleasant."
