The beds are very hard and don't appear to have been upgraded when the hotel was renovated. In additon, the person at the check in was curt and not very kind. All in all, the stay was not worth the price."

"I believe the HVAC for the building or another machine was near my bedroom. The noise was coming between the bathroom and bedroom. You could hear it turn on and off and this would not let me sleep and my daughter who was supposed to take her ACT the next morning. When it was on you could hear the noise. Staff was friendly, room was clean and breakfast was fine. But do not stay in room 317 if you want to sleep well. Not sure if the whole building is like this. "

"I reserved a Basic Room, 2 Queen Beds for 2 nights, 34 days in advance. I paid $10 per night for the extra Queen bed, as I am a FEMALE travelling with a MALE first cousin. When we checked in, there was NO ONE in the office and we were told that the door was open and our key was in the room. We went in and discovered only ONE bed. So we called the number on the office door, and were told that the room with one bed is all they had available. If we wanted to wait until someone could come from...

"The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful! I’ll go back just because she was so sweet. The room was very clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. For what you pay it’s a great deal!"

"The positive: we liked the location. The negatives: the room had a strongly bad odor when we arrived and never got better. The bathroom floor and toilet were dirty. There was only one bracket where there was supposed to be a towel rack. Needs a new shower head(was not really adjustable) and shower curtain. It looked like they were attempting to fix up the front entrance with gardening items, but it was junky looking."

There was no coffee makers in the rooms. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. It wasn’t bad for a night or two. There were a couple restaurants right next to the motel but Iron ridge is a really small town so there isn’t much around there, including a breakfast restaurant.
