"The beds really weren’t that comfortable and the fire alarm started going off at 8am when a kid pulled the alarm and the staff couldn’t figure out how to get it shut off right according to The front desk. The shower head leaked bad causing horrible water pressure"

It is a beautiful house decorated with vintage furniture, comfortable beds, beautifully tiled bathrooms, plush robes, and hosts Dee and Willow who gave us a history lesson about the property and its prior owners, and made the most wondrous breakfasts each day before we began exploring Dubuque."

"This hotel is very out dated. The curtains in our room were ripped. The window casing was broken. Would have liked to have a night table on both sides of the bed. The tub had stains. "Requested an early check in a day in advance. Was told 1:30 "would not be a problem" and room was not ready until 3:30. Breakfast area could not accommodate the number of guests there. Shower drain was plugged, left you in inches of standing water."

The only thing that was frustrating was the walls seem to not be as soundproof as they could be. The first night there was a guest above us that sounded like an elephant walking back-and-forth about 50 times between the hours of 10 P.M. and midnight, and the family in the room next to us sounded like they were in the hallway right outside the door.
