"This was a good budget hotel. It’s an old Super 8 that had been renovated. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s easy access to the highway and getting around Huntsville and to campus."

"The staff was extremely courteous and professional. The property was very clean. The first room we were given, the lights next to the bed did not work and since it was after 5p the issue could not be resolved. They offered another room but didn’t have a king and I told them double beds was not acceptable. The front desk clerk upgraded us at no additional cost to a suite with a king bed. Not really suite simply a larger room, but they didn’t charge us anymore so I was fine with it. The new room, one of the lights next to the bed did not work and the TV didn’t work. It would not receive a signal. The front desk clerk came up to the room and tried to resolve the issue and could not do so. So I had a defective light and a TV that didn’t function in the second room. We didn’t want to change rooms again so we settled for a room that should not have been rented. I asked for a one hour late check out noon instead of 11:00am and was advised that it would be an additional $25. I was fine with it because we needed the convenience of being able to change clothes after a morning event before we got on the road to travel home. They wouldn’t confirm a late checkout until the morning. When I called in the morning they refused to accommodate my late checkout request. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was extremely displeased with the stay and will never stay at this location again. I discourage others from staying there as well."

"It was ok for the price if you’re not looking for an updated stay. Ok for work trip but wouldn’t take my family to stay here. It just seems old and outdated. The beds need replaced due to sagging in the middle."

"The room was clean. The A/C worked amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the sheets and blankets had burn holes in them. I choose a smoking room so I’ll take half the blame that’s what I get. At the same time if you allow smoking rooms then you should be prepared to throw a lot of linens away and not make other customers use sheets and blankets that others burned. Just because I am a smoker doesn’t mean I want to use linens that clearly needed to be thrown away. I would have understood if there were only a couple small spots that could have been overlooked but that was the case by any means. Both sheets and blanket had multiple burn holes, a couple of them being very large spots. There was no way possible that housekeeping could have overlooked them by accident while making the bed. "

" No breakfast even though it was advertised . Room not clean and stank of smoke although it was a no smoking room. Coffee pot filthy. No hairdryer either. No one at reception when we arrived, the guy at the desk said she was in the laundy and we would have to wait. 15 minutes before she turned up. Not a good stay "

"The room was clean, the air conditioning worked fine. The staff were helpful and polite. Parking was adequate. Made our stay for Sam’s graduation easy."
