"I'm from Chicago, This was my first time visiting Houston, it was my 30th birthday trip. From the moment I pulled up to this hotel I felt like a Royal Queen. The young men outside for valet opened the car door with greetings. As soon as I walked in the building next Ms. Martha was there greeting us to the Royal Sonesta. I've never met no one as special as Ms.Martha. She made my 30th birthday trip such an amazing experience just showing her true hospitality. The bartender( I forgot her name), was so amazing to us as well. This is a highly recommended place to stay! Again, Thank You Ms. Martha and Staff for making my 1st Houston stay & Birthday so amazing!"

"The lazy river style pool was nice. There are towels available to guests. The lobby furniture seems eclectic, but the location of the hotel is great and close to restaurants and shopping."

"I had an amazing time this is an excellent decision. Everything was clean. The staff was nice including Q and all of the Cleaning staff. They were extra helpful. Great attitudes positivity everything you need was hands-on. The room was clean. The pool area was beautiful and I love that they have a designated area. I enjoyed my stay and I will be staying again."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Whitehall hotel for my sister’s birthday! Special thanks to Ana Maria, the house supervisor, for welcoming us warmly. The check-in process was smooth and efficient because of her! For breakfast, we were expecting a breakfast buffet but were surprised at the a la carte style and how good it was. Would recommend anyone to stay here!"
