"Parking was convenient by room. Note that height of step entering into room is high. If any knee or leg issues difficult. Could use new pillows in rooms. Room was clean, furniture dated. After Labor Day town is on limited schedule and certain days closed at restaurants. Not huge selection for food places."

"We had a wonderful stay at the lodges! The old-world cabin theme is beautifully done while still offering all of the modern necessities and comforts. The property itself is gorgeous and clearly very well cared for, and the service was excellent—everyone was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable whenever we needed anything. The one disappointment was that the Boathouse was closed for our entire stay. It felt like a real missed opportunity, especially for lodge guests. I would love to see it open for breakfast and lunch for guests, and perhaps dinner service for weddings and special events. Overall, a beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay with family. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily come back!"

"Lake was beautiful as usual. The staff was exceptional - always helpful and friendly. Overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and felt very safe and relaxing. Breakfast was good - very good fresh fruit salad and yogurt bar and assorted breakfast drinks and make your own waffles (though if they could include chocolate chips as a topping and cinnamon it would make it even better). The prepared cafeteria-style hash browns were very good, eggs not so good. Had an older Inn room which was as advertised. The one we had was clean with 2 twin beds and did not have AC, TV, or microwave (I missed not having the AC as the room was pretty warm despite the ceiling fan and window fan)."
