Poppies in a rape field Saw this field from afar and went looking for a close up. The poppies and oil seed rape have different flowering seasons, so a rendition of the Northumberland flag is unlikely.

Humshaugh House. Keys to the Past Web Site: Humshaugh House was once known as the Manor House and was built in the early 18th century. However, there are traces of an older structure inside, especially the 1.2m thick central wall. This may be the remains of a 17th century bastle There are also traces of an earlier building in the garden wall.

Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing ...

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was really good. Room too warm for us personally even with window open. Bathroom fixtures (bath/shower fittings) could do with being updated/modernised. Overall pleasant stay.

The studio was very clean and it has everything you need, it is a quiet area with pleanty of parking 10 mim drive from the city centre. We visited for the rugby 20 min walk ftom Newcastle Redbulls. Lovely pub called the Windsor 15 min walk away.
