"The room was clean but should not be classified as a 2 bedroom. It’s one room with partitions that don’t go to the ceiling that separate the rooms. Villas overlook main road and noise from traffic could be heard. The queen bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank. Bathroom had tiles separating, and laminate stuck to the wall with tape. Outdoor areas look dated back to the 80’s, the whole place needs a lot of maintenance. Not worth the $400 a night, more like $200 at best, if it was in better...

"We loved our stay! Beautiful room with a great view of the vineyard. The area was quiet, the bed was comfortable & the room amenities were well thought out. The only issue was the water temp in the shower. It was unstable, running scorching hot then freezing basically the whole time the shower was on. Honestly though, not a huge issue considering all the positives with our stay."

"We had a wonderful time at this beautiful historic hotel. The staff are the greatest asset, and provide genuine, heartfelt excellent service in everything they do. The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience.
