Exceptional vacation

It was an exceptional vacation ,the resort was awesome,everything was clean and all the staff was generous specially:Mr.Mohamed &Miss Viviane at the reception they were very helpful ,Mr. Ashraf at the roof restaurant was very generous. The restaurant staff was very helpful special thanks to the chef for the variety and quality of food , for the house keeping special thanks to Ibrahim & Mohamed they were always on time ........At the pool bar special thanks to Omar, Youssef & Montasser .Thanks a lot AL DORA RESIDENCE for the great stay .❤️❤️❤️ Special thanks to Eng. I made a reservation over 3 months ago, I reserved the "Panoramic Double or Twin Room", this room is supposed to have a view of the Red Sea, a sitting area and be 377 square feet. At check in it felt like they rushed us thru the process, we asked if we were getting something with a nice view, the guy said he'd see what they had available... we got the worst room possible in the whole hotel: tiny, possibly 150 square feet at most, right next to the reception, next to a men's toilet, the view was to the wall of the next building, right next to a construction area where lots of power tools were being used, very noisy, every time someone used the toilet next to the our room, we could hear the flushing, we could hear the conversations from the reception... Upon arrival, we were tired and a little disoriented, I didn't have the exact details of my reservation in my mind, but after lunch and resting I connected to WiFi and looked up my reservation details. We went to the reception and told the staff that we hadn't got the room we reserved and asked why, the guy who checked us in said he gave us that room because we were leaving for the airport early in the morning and that it was for our convenience. At check in we weren't even asked if this is what we wanted or given any options. At that point we had already unpacked and even though they offered to give us a different room, we felt it would be too much of a hassle to pack again and move for only a one night stay. Very disappointed.

Hôtel très calme au nord de la ville à 20min du centre en voiture, le personnel est sympathique, la seule chose que je noterai de négative est le problème d’eau chaude pour le reste c’était correcte.

Personnel très sympathique, chambres clean, service au top, que ce soit à l’accueil, le nettoyage ou le restaurant. Le buffet est modeste mais très bien avec du choix pour tout le monde. La vue est jolie on a la mer en face et en ce qui concerne la piscine elle est très bien avec possibilité d’avoir des cocktails pour un prix très abordable pour un hôtel en Égypte. Nous avions eu des petits soucis avec notre carte SIM et le taxi lors de notre arrivée et le personnel a été compréhensif, à l’écoute (d’ailleurs pensez à Uber et Careem pour vos déplacements dans Hurghada/El Gouna ET pour les SIM ne prenez pas à l’aéroport elles mettent 4h pour s’activer, c’est fait exprès pour vous obliger à prendre les taxis à l’aéroport à des prix exorbitant, prenez en ville chez Vodafone elles sont moins chères et fonctionnent directement) Le personnel a la gentillesse de fournir tous les jours deux bouteilles d’eau pour nous et en plus à l’accueil vous trouverez un bidon pour recharger vos bouteilles. On a pu aussi laver notre linge (à compter 50 EGP par pièce). Attention cependant si vous réservez vos activités avec Hurghada for you l’organisation est très mal faite au sein de l’agence : vous serez quasi systématiquement les premiers récupérés et les derniers déposés (~2h de perdues en une journée !!). Il vaut mieux prendre sur les sites sur place (prix divisé par deux)

L'hôtel est vraiment sympa, propre,confortable et à taille humaine. Comme il est au bout de la ville, il est nécessaire de prendre un taxi pour aller dans le centre (ceci dit il n'ya pas grand-chose à faire dans le centre) mais du coup, l'environnement est calme et il y a peu de bruit. Le personnel est vraiment attentif à nos demandes, réactif et sympathique. La plage, même si elle n'est pas super, est proche et il y a à disposition des chaises longues. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.
