"Needs an update in the hallways . We are in our 70’s and had trouble with getting up 2.5 flights of stairs and none of the staff offered to help us. Breakfast is very minimal, but we already knew that when we booked. The sea view was half lake and rest buildings. I found the same when we left both had backs aching all the way to Mooloolaba"

"The property is in a good location, but the appliances are too old. The allocated room in the apartment is in a corner, which is not as good as the other apartments' rooms. The bed frame and fridge cap are broken or scratched, and putting the bed mattress protectors adge in the middle of the bed, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep."

"Just a cabin , in need of care. Stayed midweek, you get what you pay for… bathroom desperately needs a make over. Outside & deck need a gerni. Location is handy"

"Room was clean & good sized. Property needed some attention. Our shower head was broken. It was held on with tape, which fell off. There were other residence/guests who smoked on the verandah, which made it very unpleasant. A good point was that the property was easy walk to town."

"A lovely location, with leafy, tidy grounds around the cabins. Room was older, but extremely clean and tidy. Great place for a longer stay."

"Walk to lake, shops and club. Really clean and has a great BBQ area. Beware if booking with Expedia as the price quoted is not the price charged. Expedia shows the price in another countries currency but does not advise you if this, so when they charge you they convert to Australian dollars and the price increased by $226.00"

"Location was lovely, nice walks along the river. ( Spotted a Grey Nurse shark). Enjoyed a meal at the bowls club nearby with discount from the motel. Drove to Port Macquarie and had a lovely time there. Went to the Koala rescue centre too. Room on the small side, had to live out of suitcase due to tiny wardrobe etc. Although there was a microwave, fridge & kettle it was all a tight fit. Try for a larger room. Pleasant staff."

"The property appears to be somewhat dated, and unfortunately the bathtub showed signs of mould. We also found the blanket to be unclean, and my son developed a rash after contact. Aside from these concerns, the area felt safe and quiet, and the beach was easily accessible."
