"Nice, clean cabins, quiet place, a few minutes from the West Glacier village by walk. Nice picnic areas to enjoy with friends and family.
Kitchen is fully equipped, so can do gatherings- breakfast, dinner, etc.
Kids friendly, has a nice playground. Very esthetically pleasing with flower pots all
Around. I would go back 👍"
"Great property for surroundings and quaintness. The room was tiny, parking was limited, and the chalet does not have an elevator, so we had to carry our stuff up & down narrow stairs. Great 'niche' lodging--just lacking the conveniences (elevator, floor & bathroom space, coffee pot/microwave/fridge) of a chain hotel."
"Hooks Hideout is a hidden gem in the quiet open green fields in Blackfoot Reservation near Babb, MT. It is short distance from Many Glacier and is great for accessing the East side of Glacier NP. It is off the main road North of Babb so is easily accessible if coming from Canada as well.
Beds were comfortable, room was very clean. Refrigerator in room, and access to microwave in common section in middle of hotel.
Staff were very friendly and professional.
One challenge for us was we needed to donate our unused Bear Spray at the office. Unfortunately no one is in the office until 3:00 PM and we checked out at 9:30 AM.
It was difficult to communicate in advance that we needed to cancel one night reservation for 2 rooms due to double booking. I tried unsuccessfully to contact the hotel multiple times by phone and Expedia message service.
I ended up advertising 2 free rooms for 1 night on Facebook and absorbing the cost. I was unable to cancel the rooms because the reservation was made through Expedia. Thankfully at least 2 families (whom I do not know) were able to use the rooms."
"A fantastic little resort just off West Glacier. Everyone at the resort was so chill and easy. We also did a white water rafting trip, and had a blast. Highly recommended."
"Highly recommend Glacier Guides Lodge for your stay in West Glacier. We’ve visited 21 national parks so far and have stayed at a variety of accommodations near the parks and I will say this is definitely going to be a favorite. It’s close enough to the park that you can easily get to the entrance, but also far enough away that it still felt peaceful and super quiet. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. There is a complimentary continental breakfast and we loved the sitting area outside our room. On one night we grabbed a pizza and bottle of wine in town and enjoyed sitting outside in the cool mountain air to relax after a day of hiking. Overall a 5/5 stay!"
"Beautiful property, attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable tents. Food options somewhat limited compared to other Under Canvas properties. Sleep was interrupted by the train horns."
