"Stayed seven nights at NH Malaga in October 2026. One of the best hotel experiences of my lifetime, and I've traveled for decades, stayed in hundreds of hotels. It's not the physical building that makes me feel that way, although the hotel itself was very nice - comfortable and very clean, fantastic breakfast and breakfast room, incredible location, wonderful lobby, etc. The real reason I feel this way is because of the staff, simply as good as it gets, as good as you can find anywhere. I don't think you can assemble a team as great as this without enlightened, progressive management at the highest level - so my compliments to them as well. Of I ran into a few problems that they helped me resolve, as well as helping with other small details and things that naturally come up when you're in another city. It was like having a team of friends that always had time for you. I can single out Alfonso, Esther and Nina, but there were more, including every single person involved in serving breakfast. You'll find no better operation anywhere. I'm currently staying at well-known brand-name hotel, in another major city in Spain - it seems quite ordinary and cold, compared to the warmth and professionalism at NH Malaga."

"We enjoyed the small intimate hotel, what we did not know is it was an hour up a windy road in the mountains, the address with hotels . Com was wrong, it showed we were there at the base of mountain not true circle for an hour then saw sign for hotel which led up the mountain, nothing close to hotel but natural park"

"The room was small and there was no drawers and shelves to put my clothes into but the bed was comfortable it is a half an hours walk to the city centre the staff were very helpful and room was clean and the property was clean too the breakfast was lovely Carina provided, is a very kind and a lovely lady she was very helpful and there was shops and restaurants nearby and you can hear noise from guests at night but the staff were very helpful"

"I did not see any information about the room layout when booking. We reserved a private room with its own bathroom, but it turned out to be part of a 3-bedroom apartment. The other 2 rooms shared a bathroom, while all "roommates" shared the kitchenette, dining area, and apartment entrance. As a result, your stay will be only as quiet and peaceful as your "roommates" are. In our case, we were mostly fortunate, except for a few nights when one roommate allowed his guests—who seemed to be gathering elsewhere in the building, likely on the rooftop terrace—to use his bathroom and refrigerator. They were constantly coming in and out of the apartment and were not always quiet. At one point, I had to speak to them and remind them that other people in the apartment were trying to sleep. The other roommate was generally quiet but occasionally spoke loudly on the phone and woke me up a couple of times. There is someone at reception, but not around the clock, so be aware of the reception schedule if you expect assistance during your stay. We essentially had to figure out the neighbourhood on our own. The nearest taxi stand is at the main entrance of Hospital Materno Infantil, which is useful because Uber and similar services can take a while to reach the area. For buses and walking directions, Google Maps is your best friend. A few places that helped redeem the neighborhood for us were Bar El Puche Café (breakfast), La Cacería (excellent churros), Grillera, Ranchito, and La Tapería."

"It's basically a truck stop with rooms, shower didn't work properly. We arrived late, but managed to get a drink. It's incredibly good value though, brilliant if all you need is a bed and simple breakfast."
