I especially appreciated the amenities provided — there was a dishwasher and a washing machine with laundry pods available, which was incredibly convenient because I was able to do my laundry during my trip. "The breakfast selection was excellent and the service was wonderful. The hotel itself looked old and needing paint updates from the outside but once inside it was well kept, clean, noticeably updated and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I’d like to note that seniors might find the bath tub a bit high to step into in order to shower. "Beautiful property. We have stayed here before. Well located. Nice breakfast. Terrible omelets. Overcooked. Good amenities. The only bad thing is bathroom lighting. It is WAY to dark over mirror. The hand mirror did not light up. They need shower mats as shower is very slippery!"

"Un merveilleux séjour. La chambre familiale était spacieuse, bien équipée et propre avec des peignoirs et serviettes pour tous changés chaque jour. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et complet avec des pâtisseries maisons. Le SPA et les piscines étaient très agréables. Les soins proposés aux SPA sont supers ( un vrai moment de détente). Le personnel est hyper agréable et d’une très grande efficacité. L’emplacement est top. Nous avons adoré cet établissement et le recommandons."

L’hote Jose un descendant de la famille, qui possède le vignoble et la propriété parle couramment français et est d’une grande courtoisie. Enfin, ce qui ne gâte rien, le vinho Verde primé de la propriété est délicieux et très abordable."
