Lovely quiet location with a rustic feel. Loved the enthusiasm of the family that own it and the details she gave of Carulla which had been in their family for centuries. Chance to chill by the pool which got sun for 90% of the day. It is 15 mins from any shops so make sure you stock up before as there is no restaurant anywhere nearby. kitchen stocked with everything you need and in the colder months plenty of wood for the fire. Imagine would be very cosy

This was a very peaceful and beautifully maintained retreat. Wonderful food, super friendly staff and very comfortable beds.
Would highly recommend - wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Great staff, peaceful location, incredible food (breakfast was good, but dinner was superb, including the great wine selection from local vineyards). I also got upgraded and my room was outstanding, spacious, comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate in recommending this fantastic hotel and I will definitely be staying here again! Genuinely one of the best hotel stays I've had since my honeymoon!

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at El Moli, which is located in a very beautiful albeit quiet location in the Alt Penedès. We were accommodated in one of the village house rooms which is about 250m from the hotel/restaurant where there are also the car parking facilities. The room was very pleasant - a little bit of noise from other guests walking around above us early in the morning - but not really an issue, Great breakfast and really lovely staff.

VERY difficult to find, even with a GPS! One-way streets, even in such a remote village, led us to drive in ever decreasing circles until we pulled up outside the police station. A very kind local man (who spoke no English) offered to lead us the rest of the way, and took off in his car for us to follow him. At the end of the drive, he even took us by foot to the hotel entrance! After that we had to make enquiries about finding the secure car park to the rear of the hotel, and again we were...

The hotel has a good size carpark making life easy when you first arrive. The receptionist was lovely on check in. Our room was on the first floor with a view of the pool and the surrounding countryside. The room was spacious with a good size bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well.
Breakfast was plentiful.

Joan is an excellent host. Whenever you need his help, he is there for you. Great location If you’re exploring Montserrat monastery and the funicle. Excellent rail connection to Barcelona. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly

Wonderful location, secure parking right outside. Old historic building modernised. Try and get a room with Juliet balcony overlooking the square. Great coffee shops and tapas restaurants.
All round lovely Spanish experience.

The hotel was nice, we got it at a bargin price. A 20min train journey from city but we were glad of the peace. The staff were great, printed us train times and told us good places to eat nearby!
