We LOVED the house, it was beautiful, large areas, A/C was perfect, sofas were so comfortable we both fell asleep wondering if we really had to move to the bed… bed is actually amazing. "Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr reichlich und abwechslungsreich und die Zimmer waren sehr großzügig mit einer spektakulären Sonnenterrasse mit Seeblick."

"Come here if you'd like to find out what great Italian home cooking tastes like. We had two diners here, and regret we didn't have more. The minestrone soup, lasagna and aubergine Parm are so fresh and refreshing, even though I'm used to the great Italian restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's nice to have a comforting dinner overlooking the lake, after a day of sight seeing, and finishing with home made apple cake and ice cream or rum with chocolate."

"Stanza non adeguata al livello dell’hotel. Umida e fredda, se si spegneva l’aria condizionata si bagnava il soffitto. Abbiamo dormito in lenzuola completamente umide. Dovevamo pernottare solo una notte, altrimenti avrei richiesto un cambio stanza. Disponibilità ma non troppa: abbiamo richiesto di poter lasciare l’auto nel parcheggio anche dopo il check-out ma ci è stato negato per l’arrivo di altri ospiti, peccato che il check-in è alle 15 e noi l’avremmo ripresa alle 14."

"Very scenic location in the hillside facing the lake and castle. Easy walk to Arona waterfront for a nice stroll / ferry terminal or lunch & Dinner. The breakfast great and had dinner at hotel one night and food was perfect. Great wine selection too. We had a Balcony room and the lake / Mountain views were nice. Sunsets were beautiful. Sunrise if your up early faces right at the room. Easy drive to MXP airport too."
