When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying closed until the 1 March at 5.30pm. The whole place was shut up and chairs were on the tables inside the pub. "For a small family visiting Weimar, this apartment is useful. Good kitchen. Clean and relatively convenient to the old town. The beds tend to be hard. Credit cards are not accepted. You need a phone to call owners to get in if you arrive before the evening"

"Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und eignet sich für Besucher 60+, die gerne in vergangenen Zeiten schwelgen. Modern ist anders. Es liegt im Tal, ist daher ziemlich dunkel. Ich würde es als Durchgangsstation für Wanderungen empfehlen, aber nicht für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war reichlich und das Personal freundlich."
