Crooked River Lodge

"This is the second time I have stayed at Crooked River Lodge. This establishment offers a lot of activities for guest to do. The grounds has kayaks , row boat, and bikes that you can use. They also have a dock that you could park your own water craft. During the winter they offer snow shoes to use. The game room is amazing. The rooms are very clean with a refrigerator to use. It also is very large with great views. The fire is also nice to sit by with your favorite cocktail. Did I mention they offer iced spring water, different flavors of tea, iced tea “which is amazing”, coffee, and hot chocolate I definitely suggest staying here."

"It's a old inn,built 1915 i think.beautiful,they have 3 floors your right in the heart of petoskey,bayview.nice breakfast goes with rooms.they do not have any elevators.you can ask the desk to help with luggage.enjoyed my visit."

"Very nice place. Clean. Good breakfast. Gave us extra towels and pillows when asked. Staff were polite and attentive. Price was reasonable. Only problem was that there were metal squares protruding on the bed frame and we kept hitting them on the backs of our legs when getting out of bed. Also, the pillow cases were “pilly” so they need to invest in new ones. We would stay again but bring our own pillow cases. Overall a good stay."

"Our room looked out to the parking lot and the main entrance of the hotel, couldn’t open the blinds as we would be on full display. The room was just off the front desk so there were always people around when coming and going from the hotel, very congested. Very disappointed, The room was freezing, 62 degrees, we were finally given a space heater to warm the space but still had cold air blowing on our heads. The shower was nice, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good and had a nice view. The downstairs bar was nice and had popcorn available. It is a nice hotel, but our room left much to be desired."

"This is an older Inn but well maintained, clean, and very historically built with many architectural features. The rooms do not have a television but there is a very nice lounge on the second floor with a large screen TV. The bead was antique but the mattress and pillows very comfortable. There is a restaurant and small bar and restaurant with a nice view of the lake. We like staying in non chain hotels as they seem more personal and have a local vibe. The only negative was the rooms in front are near a busy road and you will have traffic noise. Overall we would stay again and recommend."

"My overnight stay was excellent. It was super clean, roomy, and had a great mattress. I slept great. Usually, I don't sleep well the first night. I didn't hear much from my neighbors. They were making noise in the morning. I didn't try the morning coffee. I will book this hotel again in the future,"
