"I was at Haven, formerly Hotel Schmidt-Monique in Bochum for 8-days. I arrived 25-minutes before the “official” check-in time and was told I could check-in early for €20. Needless to say I waited the 25 minutes. The new owners are focussing on the hotel so the restaurant that was originally part of the hotel complex is currently closed. "Conveniently centrally located in Bochum, near Hauptbahnhof. I had a studio (together with my dog) on the top floor, which was great. In room anemities are basically some paper cups, but at reception the hotel has some guest facilities like a microwave/oven/bar/drinks facilities. Very friendly staff. Parking is cheaper when looking across the street. Beds were good. I'd come back here!"

Spacious, clean room, in the center of the town, equipped small kitchen and free laundry facility. The check-in was very easy, good remote customer service. We only stayed one night, all was great, right next to starlight express and some lovely touches e.g. photobooth Would recommend to anyone!"
